The flounder start running in October.  The smallest was 15"; the largest was 20".

Red Snapper:  shot about 2 miles from shore in 80 ft.

I think this is a good place to shoot a fish.

I couldn't get the speartip out under water. I had to lay the fish on my dive platform and drive the spear through with a hammer.

Two grouper shot less than a mile offshore.  We usually have to go deep to find these guys.

Gag grouper Shot in 90 ft about 6 miles off the coast.

From left to right:  Gag Grouper, Stone, and Amberjack.

Nice Size Shovelnose Lobster, also called a Slipper, or Rock Lobster.

This is the largest Shovelnose we have found so far.  Right at 13".

Biggest Red Grouper so far.  31 inches.

Gag Grouper.

2nd place in the 2005 ECRA Fishing/Spearfishing Tournament.

Candy's Gag Grouper

20 Dec 06

The Boat is down for repair, so we are keeping busy with Candy's Artificial Reef Project.  This is a picture of  the "Chicken Coops."

We had to remove some fiberglass shelves and chain 2 coops together to meet Okaloosa County requirements for deploying "Reef Material."
