View of Steps

The steps were already cut out when I bought the boat, but you had to remove about a dozen screws to remove them.  I added the stainless hardware which allows me to remove the steps without tools.

Bulkhead In Place

This is the "Frankenstein" mess that is my access to the forward section of the engine.  I have reinforced it, but it fits perfectly, so I never replaced it.

For my particular engine installation (5.7 L Mercruiser), I can't imagine not having access through the steps.
