Tools for Working on Regulators

 First, here are some common tools that are often needed:

 

Box wrenches- removing hoses/2nd stages
Torque wrench and crows feet
Socket wrench and sockets
Adjustable wrench
Screwdrivers – adjusting 2nd stages
Allen wrenches – removing port plugs and adjusting some 1st and 2nd stages
Bench vise – good for holding on to port tool
Needle nose pliers – removing filter clips

Ultrasonic cleaner

Branson 200.  Good "brand name".  Too small to cover a 1st Stage completely.  I still use it.

You can spend $400 or more if you need to

clean more than one 1st stage at a time

IP Gauge

Christolube
